Description:
This session will explore organizational behavior, culture, and effectiveness. Participants will examine organizational behavior and culture through an examination of the role of leadership, team dynamics, and organizational design in shaping culture and driving performance within organizations. Topics to cover include maintaining core values, fostering innovation, cultural change, leadership, the impact of organizational culture on employee behavior and company performance.

Wendell Seaborne, PhD
Wendell Seaborne serves as the Dean of Doctoral Studies and Academic Research at Franklin University. He joined Franklin University in 2011 as a faculty member in the MBA program. During his time at Franklin, he has served as the Program Chair for the Doctor of Business Administration program, Department Chair for Business Administration within the Ross College of Business, founding Dean of Doctoral Studies, and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs. He served as Faculty Senate President from May 2015 to April 2017.
Prior to joining Franklin University, Seaborne served on the business faculty as both an adjunct and fulltime professor at Anderson University and earlier enjoyed a 27-year career with an electric utility in Indiana, currently part of Duke Energy.
Dr. Seaborne holds a BA in Political Science from Indiana University-Bloomington, an MBA with a Finance concentration from Anderson University and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University.
