ANNOUNCEMENT
Due to unprecedented growth in Central Ohio, the Mid-Ohio Water and Sewer District is currently seeking highly motivated, professional candidates to fill a vacant Finance Director role within the District’s leadership team. Responsibilities include the overall management of financial operations, accounting systems, budget development, fiscal controls, vendor contracts and purchasing, human resources, safety compliance and reporting, information technology and compliance with Ohio public records and finance laws. This position ensures the integrity, transparency, and sustainability of the District’s financial resources in support of water and wastewater utility operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Public Administration, or related field with a minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible governmental accounting or public finance experience. Thorough knowledge of Ohio public finance laws, public records laws, and governmental accounting standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Suite. Proficiency is Software Solutions, Inc, Visual Intelligence Portfolio (SSI VIP) or other accounting software preferred. Experience with water and wastewater utility financial operations, rate structures, and capital financing preferred.
BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION

Salary range $100,000 – $135,000 annually DOQ.
